Location: Denver, Colorado
Hours: 9am-5pm M-F (overtime required when needed)
Job Summary
Responsible for programming scripted tools to automate print production. Work with existing software and develop internal web-based tools to aid Prepress. Our ideal candidate is an energetic go-getter who excels in a fast-paced environment and is seeking an opportunity to develop and advance within the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize Visual Basic to build automation within Kodak Prinergy software
- Work with the automation team and Prepress
- Program new automation tools using various scripting languages
- Completes special projects as assigned
- Maintain company’s professional reputation
- Keep work area clean and secure
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Visual Basic, Javascript, and PHP
- Preferred experience with print industry software
- Preferred experience with XMPie or other variable data software
- Detail-oriented and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to maintain an orderly workflow and prioritize assignments
